The Tubogas bracelet with two natural corals dates back to Roman times, when a twisted thread gave rise to a mesh that is now known worldwide as tubogas. Roman patrician women wore flexible bracelets that could be rolled up to the top of the arm as if it were wrapped in the coils of a shiny reptile.
The TUBOGAS mesh has evolved over the millennia and, thanks to the mechanical industry, all the engineering that makes these objects plastic and particularly comfortable has been applied. Due to the device of circulating liquid or gas through the “tube,” in the early 1900s, this spiral was called TUBOGAS.
TUBOGAS is a noble and ancient artisan concept dating back thousands of years; it is a Roman and Italian heritage whose repetition enhances its myth. It is up to us to innovate while preserving the preciousness of this history, which we respect and indeed love. And like any passion, F.G.
